Shop Hub for I Wanna Test The Game

The Shop Hub covers everything you buy inside I Wanna Test The Game, the Roblox beta from Project I Wanna. Unlike cosmetics-first experiences, the core purchase is gun level—persistent damage that makes Sagat realistic. After Sagat, a second economy appears: Souls for Third Eye (secret boss unlock).

Why shops matter

Platforming skill is mandatory. Shops are the multiplier. Players who skip Shop 1 enter Stage 4 underpowered and arrive at Sagat with pillow damage. Because gun level cannot be reset, every purchase is permanent progress even when Retry sends you to an old save station (How to Save).

Where shops appear in the route

Shops show up between major stages—commonly after early lava rooms and again before the boss. Follow the Full Walkthrough or Stages 1–3Stages 4–5 so you do not walk past a shop while tilted.

What shops are not

  • They are not a redeem-code reward center. See honest status on Codes.
  • They are not required to hop Stage 1 lava.
  • They do not disable traps; read All Traps.
  1. Reach Shop 1 with a fresh save.
  2. Buy early gun levels.
  3. Clear mid stages.
  4. Dump remaining XP at Shop 2.
  5. Fight Sagat with How to Beat Sagat.

Treat the shop as part of the skill tree. Jumping is the body; gun level is the lever.

Why the shop matters in a rage demo

Unlike endless simulators, the shop here is a short XP sink between platform rooms. Purchases feed a persistent gun level that carries into Stage 6. Skipping shops to “prove purity” is optional, but most clear videos and tutorials assume at least mid gun levels before Sagat—see Gun Upgrades and Shop → Gun.

Donation versus progression

The Game Passes page covers the optional Robux donation pass. It is not a win button and does not replace saves or parries. If you hoped codes would refill XP, read the honest Codes status first.

Shopping checklist

  1. Clear a segment with a fresh save.
  2. Enter the shop pipe/area when the route offers it.
  3. Buy gun levels you can afford; do not hoard XP “for later” if Sagat is next.
  4. Re-equip with Q/E before combat rooms.
  5. Confirm you cannot fire during a parry animation after recent patches.

Pair shop planning with Stages 4–5 timing so you are not broke entering the boss.
